Thanks to the brains trust at Triple J we’ve put together the wickedest, all Australian surf film soundtrack ever, trevor. It’s madness. It took a while, and Clare and I listened to a lot of uuurrr not-so-amazingness, but we put our head down and soon came across some gems.  Bands we included from the website are Major Chord, Tom Richardson, Big Scary, Justin Carter, The Smoke, The Melodics, SolarStares and the amazing Tim and Jean. The soundtrack also features Triple J faves – Seth Sentry, MPhazes, The Beautiful Girls, Dardanelles and Goons of Doom along pop-queens Dash and Will, Nick Batterham, Matt Walters and new comers Kiri O’Connor and Liz Cogger.  If you want to listen to the soundtrack – you’ll have to come to the film. As we’re not sure if we’ll be able to release it on CD. It’s screening at The Australian Centre for Moving Image, Fed Square, Melbourne next Tuesday the 27th of April at 7.30pm. Yet again, Triple J achieves their goal – promoting and exposing young Australian artists.

I’m a little distressed.  My horoscope isn’t up yet. What’s happened? Are you ok? I hope you haven’t done yourself an injury – because I’ve been checking every half hour to see what the stars have in store for me for this Feb – and it’s still not there. I know I’m in Australia and we’re a bit ahead, so I purposefully waited and gave you some more time. But still, no love.

I don’t know why Chanel, or the brand which she used, hasn’t done a short film/ad championing the power of perfume. Or at least a new scent named in her honour after her death in July this year. Inspiring reason to by perfume.

They first popped up at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week when they created a jewelry collection to compliment Antipodiums knockout catwalk show. Giant A’s, Rocket Tampons, Rats, Frogs and flowers. When they’re not in their Sydney studio they’re over in Japan partying, searching for inspiration and spruiking their wares. Konichiwa.

After spending the first couple of months locked out of Grace’s world – Wintour insisted the camera crew go on a shoot with her. Much to Grace’s displeasure. She new she could do nothing about it so chose to embrace the opportunity. And so R.J. had his story. The continuous cheeky tug of war between two women on the same side. Result: Anna Wintour – fabulous editor at any cost. Grace – heart & soul, the storyteller. And if you don’t have a story you’ve got nothing to edit.
