The best thing about Who What Wear is that they shoot the latest looks straight into your email. They have an uncanny ability to write 500 + words on ‘winged eye makeup’ and still not sound like complete tossers. The worst thing is that WE’RE IN COMPLETE OPPOSITE SEASONS. And normally I’m broke.

But. Yesterdays beauty made my heart flutter. Columns of celebs. COLUMNS I SAY. Brilliant. And even better. I’m so broke. More broke than the glass I smashed last night. More broke than the Melbourne’s try-hard London Eye. And I have a tendency to lose my wallet every six months. I haven’t lost the current one for a good nine. So i’m due.

This one time not-the-real-Kenny posted my WHOLE handbag back to me. He found it hanging on the tow bar of the port-a-loos. Another time I lost it for a year. Bring briiiiing. Then I got a call. ‘Hello My name’s Blah Blah and I’m the manager of the Royal Mail up here at Dunkheld. We’re revegetating the garden and we’ve found your wallet’. Boomerang.

Other times I’ve not been so lucky. But I’ve found a solution. The paper wallet. Neatly held together by a plastic fork. Helloooo boys!!! Fabo.

Benny T introduced me to this stroke of genius at the bar on Sat night. As you can see by the surrounding shot glasses. So clever right now. Observe. Adopt.

Ultimate outfit day.

The Devil Wears Prada was on last night. Jeeze the clothes in that movie make me happy. This is my ultimate outfit.

I want an ultimate outfit day. A day once a month, or even year that’s dedicated to wearing your ultimate outfit. The hottest thing you got happening in your wardrobe. At that time. In that season. For whatever mood you’re in. And then everyone can send in photos of their ultimate outfit. It will be a project. A blog. A flip book. A day.

On this day when people ask you why you’ve dressed up, or down, instead of saying I felt like it you get to say ‘It’s ultimate outfit day, didn’t you know??’

It’ll give the people who don’t work in a fashion to look like they do, and the people who work in suits a chance to express themselves. And if everyone’s doing it. No one looks like a goose. And no ones embarrassed to sit with you at lunchtime. And instead of getting weird looks down the street people will smile and nod.

You shouldn’t need an excuse to wear what you want. But, sometimes you feel a little self-conscious and you just do.

I’ll workshop this and see what I can do.

Given the weather outside I thought this was rather fitting.

Getting a fake tan on a rainy day can be a recipe for disaster. The trip from salon to car post-spray can make or break your tan consistency. When it starts raining you start running, and so does your tan.

So, Cody has come to our rescue with Bliss, a portable spray tan service.

Woot woot.

No more underwear lines or random streaks from god knows what. You can wander round naked in the comfort of your own home until your professional spray tan dries.
