Shut-up! Bendigo is pretty. Stunning actually. You’ve OBVIOUSLY never been there!!! So go. Go to the Go. You’ve got a really good reason to.
The Golden Age of Couture: Paris and London 1947-1957 (organised by the Victoria & Albert Museum, London) is showing exclusively in Victoria at the Bendigo Art Gallery.

The exhibit includes over 100 dresses alongside photographs and original film exploring the most glamourous and remarkable decades in fashion history.
Sex in the City fan? Find out where the ballerina skirt originally stemmed from. Head up and learn about how Dior’s ‘New Look’ designs signaled the return to luxury after wartime austerity.
The exhibition closes on the 22 of March. Open 10am – 5pm Daily. 42 View Street, Bendigo.

Why would I be focusing on Oscar gowns when I just found the ultimate fashion prediction tool. A Rick Astley music video. Oh yeeeaaaah. Never Gonna Give You Up. That’s exactly what trend setters and celebs are singing about 80′s threads.
Clearly brought up on Rage/MTV of the 80′s. And, being 6 years old at the time, not fully aware of the high-waisted-lycra-leggings-paired-with-heels-horror, all they want to do is be the pretty blonde back up dancers.

It’s scary. I’ve recently seen the collared shirt done right up, witnessed the hipster-buzz-cut teamed with ray bans and of course the bodycon dresses. Which look amazing on stick insects. I feel like this clip was made yesterday. The only thing that gives it away is that Rick’s not wearing skinny jeans.
Even though the girls aren’t wearing shoulder pads. Let me tell you. They’re on their way back. Back from the grave.
Aaaaaaarrrrgggghhhh. Run. Ruuuuun.

Would you like boobs with your latte?? Yes please. The Big Book of Breasts is the ultimate coffee table book. Mesmerising.

I’ve never seen such huge boobs in all my life. I learnt that every second ‘nude models’ name is Candy and that in Germany circa 1794 mothers that were breast feeding were required to make their breasts available to feed the needy. Wack.
Apart from anything it’s a fascinating documentation of photography and the female figure through the 50′s, 60′s, 70′s and 80′s. Translated into german and french this Taschen masterpiece is a must have.

Fun bags. Bless.

Michael Jackson get awaaaaay from thoooose children!! AAAaaaaarrrrrgghh.

I can hear the screams now as I cruise down the street wearing my new Michael Jackson Headhood while babysitting my three little, blonde, blue-eyed cousins.
Hhahaha. It’s a trick.
Narh I wouldn’t get MJ. I def go for Maz or the cool detailed skull. But don’t these rock!!!????? YEEEEEESSSSSSSS.

Check out these unreal hoodies by Clinton Van Gemert. This musician/designer hand-prints and designs these hoodies from a ‘not so desirable’ part of Brooklyn in NYC. He ships internationally so drop him a line.
Be sure to take your Measurements first. And don’t, whatever you do, measure yourself after you’ve just polished off a jar of Nutella. It no make you feel good.
It’s always tomorrow. Diet tomorrow.
Thanks to YanYan for the tip off.
